The Guarantor of an account is the person responsible for the bill. The DAISY statement will be sent to the person listed as the guarantor of the account. The Guarantor can be a different person than the Subscriber of the Insurance Coverage. Unless Medicaid, children are usually not set up as the guarantor of an account.

Changing the Guarantor on an Account:

  1. Open the appropriate Account screen
  2. Right click in the Guarantor area of the Account screen
  3. Click on Select Guarantor on Account
  4. Enter the last name of the person to be listed as the guarantor
  5. Select the appropriate person from the resulting list if he/she has already been set up in DAISY, then click the OK button
  6. If the appropriate person is not listed, click on the New Guarantor button to set up his/her personal information in DAISY
