User Permissions

  • User Permissions have been separated for inactivating a patient or account, and deleting or removing a patient or account.
    • When creating a new user, the default will be to allow the new user to inactivate a patient or account.

List Maintenance

  • In List Maintenance when creating a duplicate User Defined Tag, a message will appear “The entry or code already exists in the system.  Please enter a unique value.”

Patient

  • In Patient Recall, a period of up to 99 months can be selected.

InCharge AutoPay

  • In an account’s existing Financial Arrangement that has an AutoPay Profile selected, changing the Payment Due Day will take effect immediately when the change is saved.  

eRx

  • When entering a reported medication on the Free Form Rx pad, the reported medication displays as a medication and differentiates it from a prescription.  
  • When a reported medication is entered using the Free Form Rx Pad, the Appointment Detail report (r3004) will list it as a medication.
  • The Activity Log will not display a reported medication that was entered using the Free Form Rx Pad, but a prescription entered using the Free Form Rx Pad will display on the Activity Log as a prescription.
  • In DAISY Patient\Medical Alerts tab, when a drug allergy is expired in Clinician, the corresponding medical alert presented as "Allergy:____" and originating from Clinician\Patient\Drug Allergies will automatically be removed from medical alerts for patient.

 

 Other Changes

 

  • InMediata eligibility inquiries submit an 8-digit date format.
  • In the Periodontal Graphic Chart (r2701), when a workstation does not have an MS Office license, the legend uses bitmap graphics.
  • In the Patient Chart report (r2601), the formatting was changed to reduce “white space”.
  • In the Appointment Route Slip report (r3015), the patient name is on the header of each page.
  • In Fee Schedule and UCR Schedule, the initial position is on D0120.
  • In Hard Tissue Chart, the preferred provider name on the account is displayed next to the Preferred Account.
  • In the Appointment Route Slip report (r3015), the next recall information is based on any recall type, not just Prophy.
  • In DAISY/Practice Configuration/EDI, the passwords for InMediata and Change Healthcare are hidden.
  • Fixed Dexis bridge incompatibility with Win 8.
  • DAISY has a certified EHR through Clinician.
  • The header on eRx menu caption and button hint, as well as the ePrescribing webpage is changed to “eRx / EHR”.
  • XDR imaging bridge is compatible with Windows 8.
  • TigerView imaging bridge is compatible with Windows 8.
  • Third party chart icons, such as Panda Perio, were reinstated.
  • ADA 2012 claim form is the default claim form.
    A data only ADA 2012 claim form can be accessed through Report Gallery. Please call support for assistance in accessing the data only version of a dental claim.
  • In Schedule View, access to the Appointment List Report (R3002) is in menu Reports/Appointment List.
    This filters the report to show only the appointments on the schedule view.
  • The Appointment List report (R3002) displays the Last Medical History entry date and review status.
  • In Appointment Notes Review, Medical History and Clinical Notes buttons were added.

Sybase SQL Anywhere

  • Sybase 16 license upgrade is deployed using the Auto Updates feature.
  • Deployed for both Server and Application, and is installed simultaneously with DAISY 4.4.
  • As part of the upgrade to Sybase 16, a message will display “Rebuild database to Sybase 16” following the update to DAISY 4.4. This process could take as long as 20 minutes, or more.
