If you use Dentrix, Eagle Soft or Open Dental, your critical patient and business data may be at risk.
Below are 4 screen shots taken by a DMC employee when transitioning new dental practices to DAISY. Each database was accessed using a standard Windows text editor and can be viewed in detail by clicking on the images below.
Click on the Dentrix, Eaglesoft and Open Dental screen shots and you will see plain text data stored in the database. This means the database file is not encrypted.
In the DAISY database the file is fully encrypted. If your computers or backups are stolen, your DAISY patient data cannot be accessed.
