CDT 2015 codes are effective January 1, 2015 and have been installed through DAISY AutoUpdates. 

The CDT 2015 code set includes 16 new codes, 52 revised codes and 5 deleted codes. 

You may already have one or more of the deleted codes attached to appointment templates, treatment plans and chart buttons.  These codes will need to be manually removed and/or replaced with a valid code on a case-by-case basis.  Refer to the CDT 2015 book published by the ADA for complete information on code changes.

Please note that DAISY user defined codes D9986 and D9987 are now valid CDT codes:

•     D9986 Missed appointment
•     D9987 Cancelled appointment

If you are currently utilizing D9986 and D9987 for any other service or product, you will need to assign a new user defined code.  The account ledger and patient history will retain the previously assigned code description.

Please note that the account ledger and patient history will retain the previously assigned code description for procedures posted prior to December 31, 2014.
